Course Description

Students will learn how to harness the power of Microsoft’s ASP.NET software. Using an object oriented programming approach, ASP.NET allows the user to build and deploy Web applications and XML Web Services. Students will learn how to create roles and assign users to roles, and how to customize the Login control. Students will learn how many websites require new users to verify their email address before their account is activated, how to implement such behavior, and how to apply user- and role-based authorization rules to methods.
