Course Description

CompTIA A+ Certification is the industry standard for validating the foundational skills needed by today’s computer support professionals. This international vendor-neutral certification requires that you pass a minimum of two exams: the required CompTIA A+ Essentials Exam and a specialized elective exam. In this instructor-led, lecture and lab course, you will focus on preparing for the CompTIA A+ Essentials Exam 220-701 and Practical Application Exam 220-702.

With a particular focus on certification exam preparation, you’ll gain the needed knowledge of basic computer hardware and operating systems. You’ll cover the essential principles of installing, building, upgrading, repairing, configuring, trouble-shooting, optimizing, diagnosing, and preventive maintaining, and you’ll learn elements of soft skills, security, and customer service interaction. Instructor-led practice and quizzes help reinforce course concepts and exam readiness.

This intense exam-preparation program prepares you to earn CompTIA A+ IT Technician certification and includes:

Course Objective: You will install, upgrade, repair, configure, optimize, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on basic personal computer hardware and operating systems.
