Program Description

Our Clinical Medical Assistant program is by far the best Medical Assistant Program in Central Texas!

It is a multi-functional, multi-dynamic course oriented to a physician’s office or clinic setting. Our student will achieve FOUR distinct, NATIONAL Healthcare certifications!:

• National Clinical Medical Assistant Certification
• National Phlebotomy Technician Certification
• National Electrocardiogram Technician Certification
• CPR, 1st aid, and AED (Defibrillators) Certification

While in the Medical Assistant program student’s will learn:

• Administrative Medical Assisting
• Computers in the Medical Office

• Collecting, Processing, & Testing Specimens (Urine & Blood)

• Externship (1 month)
• Resume Writing, Interviewing Skills

As a Medical Assistant, you will work with everyone from newborn infants to the elderly. Your employment options are endless and there is a place for everyone. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates should be able to find entry-level employment in a variety of healthcare settings such as a hospital, laboratory, blood donation center, dialysis center, or a private physician’s office.

All student will be able to take advantage of our FREE Office Application Workshops to polish their administrative software skills.

Also all students will receive, one-on-one, personal attention with a administrator in developing their cover letters and their resumes. We continue working with our students way after the completion of their program until they are employed!
